Chinese Theater

Chinese theater now rebranded as the TCL Grauman’s Chinese theater is more famous due to its hand and foot prints of various Hollywood stars. There are more than 200 such imprints in the theater. Legend has it, that Norma Talmadge by mistake stepped into the wet cement which was present outside the construction of the building. Since then, the owner of the building asked other celebrities like Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks to repeat the mistake with both hands and feet. It has become a tradition.

Due to the large collection of hand and foot imprints, tourists in large numbers visit the theater as well.

The theater is located at the famous Hollywood Boulevard. Due to the hand and foot prints, it has become a part of the history of Hollywood.

You can also watch your favorite movies at this theater. You would be seated in the IMAX auditorium. The theatre also boasts of one of the largest IMAX auditoriums in the world with a capacity of 932 people.

The architecture of the theater is also on a grand scale and incorporates Chinese architecture.
