Santa Monica

One of the top 10 beaches in the world is Santa Monica Pier. It is one of the most popular destinations for domestic and international travel. Santa Monica pier has an amusement park with some historical parts that includes a carousel and a number of dining options. If you’re into shopping there are really quaint boutiques on Main Street and Abbot Kinney. You can really enjoy some beach night life at some of the bars on Main Street that include the Circle Bar, Enterprise Fish Company and 31 ten. There is even a great Irish pub on Main Street.

31 Ten is a great place to have drinks and listen to good music on a Friday or Saturday night. It has a beautiful garden section with amazing outdoor ambience. The indoor lounge is very chic and has an upscale ambiance right across from the beach. Venice Beach

Venice Beach is home to Travelflix and is one of the best people watching places in Los Angeles. Made up of an eclectic group of people from artist to surfers this place rocks. It will remind you of Woodstock except it’s on the beach. This particular beach attracts all walks of life and is host to many different people from around the world. Venice is filled with art, murals and vendors. Make sure you take a walk on the board walk to see all the shops, art and entertainment. This place also has some historic corners like the Venice Canals which has great peaceful backdrops that are hard to find on the beach. Walk thru the neighborhood and you will these amazing canals.

This place is the jump off for trends, nightlife and everything cool. I remember riding my bike through this area feeling completely free with a corona in my hand. This place has a few hidden gems that I would like to share with you.

Do not come to Venice and not pay homage to Venice Circle and the Venice sign. This happens to be one of the coolest streets to take pictures or meet people on the beach. It’s dope with old Italian lighting and a landmark VENICE sign to take pics behind.
